WOMEN 2020
November 14, 2020
What is TEDWomen?
TEDWomen is a three-day conference about the power of women and girls to be creators and change-makers. The program of speakers, workshops, events — and daring discussions — has sparked some of TED’s most iconic moments yet.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic this year TEDWomen will be working in collaboration with an incredible group of TEDx organizers. The TEDWomen event this year will celebrate and amplify the most interesting, dynamic, multi-dimensional ideas — from Lagos, Nigeria, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Montreal, Canada, Colombo, Sri Lanka, and Sydney, Australia. These talks, along with an array of interactive and participatory sessions, will be shared via TED’s custom digital events space to create an unforgettable day.
TEDxCherryCreek will once again bring the TEDxCherryCreekWomen conference to Colorado.
Our first priority is the safety of everyone involved in our events.
With the fluid nature of the COVID-19 Pandemic we are preparing for multiple scenarios for this year’s event.
At this point we are planning to hold a virtual Live Streamed event. This means speakers will still be on a stage with a full production crew and will have a fully produced TEDxTalk video posted to the TED(x) YouTube channel. There will, however, be no live audience. The entire event will be LiveStreamed.
All social distancing and safety precautions will be taken for speakers, crew, and TEDx staff.
