What is TEDWomen?
TEDWomen is a three-day conference about the power of women and girls to be creators and change-makers. The program of speakers, workshops, events — and daring discussions — has sparked some of TED’s most iconic moments yet.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic this year TED is still working out details for the global event. This means we do not have a definitive date for this event, though we are preliminarily looking at November 14th. Please note that with the global pandemic this date may change to another date within a possible date range of November 14-23, 2020.
Our first priority is the safety of everyone involved in our events.
With the fluid nature of the COVID-19 Pandemic we are preparing for multiple scenarios for this year’s event.
Ideally we are planning to hold a virtual Live Streamed event. This means speakers will still be on a stage with a full production crew and will have a fully produced TEDxTalk video posted to the TED(x) YouTube channel. There will, however, be no live audience. The entire event will be LiveStreamed.
All social distancing and safety precautions will be taken for speakers, crew, and TEDx staff.
