Our Committment to Community During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Why a “Pay What You Can” model?

The global pandemic has affected us all.

We recognize that our TEDx Community has been affected by the global COVID-19 pandemic.
As curators of TEDxCherryCreek events, we have also been affected by it.

These are unprecedented times!

We decided, despite the pandemic, and perhaps even more because of it, that we needed to continue to provide Ideas Worth Spreading to provide hope and to help those in our community. Regrettably, we realized that we can’t hold an in-person event, but we are committed to providing a Fully Produced (not zoom or webinar) TEDx event with our speakers.

We also know that some in our community cannot afford tickets to events, even Virtual events, because of the economic impact of the pandemic.

To that end, we made the decision to offer a “pay what you can” model to attend the event.

If you can afford one of the ticket levels to help us cover the cost of producing and curating this event, thank you.
If, however, you cannot afford a ticket at any price but would still like to view the event and need the hope and inspiration it will provide, simply choose the free ticket option because we want you to be able to attend as well.

SPECIAL NOTE:
For those who can afford the “Patron” level this year, you will also receive TWO tickets to next year’s TEDxCherryCreekCountdown 2021 event.
For those who can afford the “Support” level this year, you will also receive ONE ticket to next year’s TEDxCherryCreekCountdown 2021 event.

We look forward to having you join us.
