The TED and TEDx Platforms are all about “Ideas Worth Spreading.” I love this concept.
I take this concept one step further in my work as a Success Humorist (a job title I made up.) In my work, I like to help people learn and remember that humor and laughter, combined with success strategies, create “attitudes and results worth spreading.”
“Showing Up” is the theme of this year’s TEDX CherryCreekWomen Event. I love this theme. I have a wooden sign etched over my kitchen door that reads: “Remember: You can never be late until you show up.” The good news is, every day we get to choose for ourselves how we are going to show up. We are the sum total of the decisions we make each day.
My plan, on November 30th, is to show up in gratitude for being invited onto this prestigious platform. I am very excited to share my ideas on the success strategies of Applied Humor. I am passionate about my message and am doubly blessed that I have been able to spend over 25 years having a blast sharing it around the country!
I look forward to seeing you on November 30th.
Get a good night’s sleep the night before, because you will want to be alert, awake and alive for a truly unforgettable day of positivity and passion. And no need to feel embarrassed about running a little behind schedule, because remember…
“You can never be late, until you show up!”
